Notably absent on my truck are skid plates that offer any protection for the oil pan or tranny pan. Checking the fiche online, I see that Ford only offers protection for the tank and the xfer case (which I already have). I am particularly concerned as I have a drain valve protruding from the oil pan.

Anyone know where I can get some aftermarket skid plates to cover these areas?

My advice would be to find a custom 4x4 shop with a good fabricator (or buddy with a good welder and chop saw). There's plenty of room under the truck, weight is not an issue, and even the factory skid plates are really simple. It should be easy just to fab something.
