Alternator wiring
I need help doing my alternator wiring. the truck I have has a generator on it with a somewhat butchered wiring harness. I bought a voltage regulator and an alternator for a 66 truck and was wondering how I would wire it in?

I am not sure how to wire up your alternator but I also have a 63 f100 4x4 all original, but I want to change from generator to alternator. Where did you get your bracket to mount the alternator to the 292 block?

Alternator wiring
I had an alternator on my Y-Block (still do but keep reading). I added A/C recently so the alternator got moved on the new bracket set. I have an alternator bracket set for the 292Y for sale. They are in great shape. Let me know if you are interested. I'd take $40 for the set.
