I really enjoy boating and being out on the water, not so much the fishing.

What area of the province are you in Nyborg? Ive went fishing in quite a few places up north, and grew really close to the sask river (codette lake0 and have "lived" summers up at tobin. This province is really great for fishing, there is tons of good lakes.

Deshambault is awesome in the right spots for pickeral, same with limestone lake.

The sask river system has monster jack in there.

Waylan bay is pretty good for trout too and the lake is nice and clear which is kinda rare in sask.

I could go on and on about different northerish lakes

Which lake near big river?

Ok for the fishing aspect it seems like the farther up north big lakes do have all the best fishing. Those are the lakes you might wanna spend a few days at though, because of the long drive.

Heres a link I found of a few top places to go in all of sask.
Saskatchewan Fishing, Saskatchewan Canada Fishing, Saskatchewan Fishing Trips

I'm going to McTavish Lake May 28th.

We fly out of Otter Rapids into the lake.
10 hours driving and 15 minutes flying.
We may even get a ride up the Churchill in a jet boat.

I love fishing on the churchill, but I havent been up there for a few years now. Havent been to otter rapids in awhile too.

My parents fly out of there to a lake called poliak, or something like that. They have a deal with the guy that owns the cabins up there to do some work and repairs for free stay up there!
