Deshambault is awesome in the right spots for pickeral, same with limestone lake.
The sask river system has monster jack in there.
Waylan bay is pretty good for trout too and the lake is nice and clear which is kinda rare in sask.
I could go on and on about different northerish lakes
Ok for the fishing aspect it seems like the farther up north big lakes do have all the best fishing. Those are the lakes you might wanna spend a few days at though, because of the long drive.
I love fishing on the churchill, but I havent been up there for a few years now. Havent been to otter rapids in awhile too.
My parents fly out of there to a lake called poliak, or something like that. They have a deal with the guy that owns the cabins up there to do some work and repairs for free stay up there!
