Yes they're all the same- just changed all my filters over the last 2 weeks. The filters on top are EASY, the one on the frame rail is more of a pain and a lot messier... don't ask my wife why our laundry room smelled like a diesel truck stop...
Well whoever decided to mount that filter on the frame needs to be taken out and kicked in the ****! What a pain! The top one wouldn't have been so bad but mine was in there so tight that I actually had to replace the cap with a new one because it started to strip the plastic nut off when I was taking it off! So when I put on the new cap I greesed the threads up to see if it would go in any easier. Not a chance! Tight as a virgin on prom night! The threads weren't crossed. It was just hard as hell to screw it in! Anyone else been having this problem?
I just changed both filters this afternoon. 36 mm works well for both...just getting to the bottom filter is tough. I have to throw in with CrpssFire...the engineer that designed the location for that lower filter should be doomed to replacing them for all of eternity. I ended up with a diesel shower and a displeased wife...she doesn't consider diesel a manly smell.
