Jeff,

If you need Ideas and don't want to go with the current OEM style offering for your truck, you should check out these guys. There are tons of styles and options to choose from. If nothing else just get the idea and then order the lights elsewhere?

Here are some examples of tail lights from the tail light king.

The small oval lights would look good mounted in a roll pan, which is what I plan for later. My problem is keeping a trailer hitch. I must have a hitch to pull the teardrop camper that is in the works.

The tailight king is great! Thats where I was able to find the lenses for the 46 Chrysler tailights.

You might also check out some of the custom motorcyle vendors. There's tons of light options there as well.

I'm still trying to decide what to do for reverse lights. I saw a set on a 49 Merc that I liked (now I need to find them in real life). I'll probably mount them in the rear bed sill below the tailgate.

I have chrome step bumper on my truck and my original plan was to put a reciever hitch on it. I might just stay with the ball mounted on the step bumper as I don't forsee ever having to pull anything real heavy.

Couldn't you install a hidden hitch behind the roll pan and have some sort of access panel or something that hides the receiver when the hitch is not in use?

The 23 gallon BroncoII tank sort of takes up most of the room at the rear of the truck, I don't think there will be much room behind the rollpan for a hidden reciever hitch.
