1959 292 Y Block Question

This may sound like a silly question, but do all the Y-Blocks have the same firing order and cylinder numbering sequence? The reason I ask is because I have 1959 292 per the casting numbers that I'm rebuilding and I guess at one time the engine had been rebuilt, but the connecting rods are out of order based upon my knowledge of the Y-Block. The number 1 connecting ROD is in the last hole on the left bank if you are looking at the front of the engine. So basically the connecting rod sequence is 1234 on the left back starting at the back hole and going forward. So looking at the front of the motor, the connecting rod sequence is 4321. The right bank is correct. Just wanted to make sure that they did not change this up at some point.

Casting number is B9AE 6015 F

1955 F100

Thanks
