Lets give give our wives or girlfriend,and in some cases here for the ladies who have husbands or boyfriends for supporting us in our hobbies.

Every time I start to feel a little guilty about buying some rediculous part for my truck. I just remember that she has ONE pair of shoes that were the same price as my carb, or a dress that cost the same as my engine rebuild, and I don't feel so guilty anymore!
She doesn't complain though. I can tell that she wishes I spent more time inside with her, but she understands that I get a little stircrazy in the house.

Agree. My wife complained about the 4-tone paint job on my 79. (3 shades of green and gray primer spots from PO). I'm in the process of doing some body work and painting it now.
My wife has an Old General Store that she also sells antiques from so when it's time for auctions she loves my truck.

I bought this old 79 F150 4x4 on ebay on my wifes birthday, she workes in saginaw and stays there 4 days a week. I work in Ann arbor where are home is, she was working on her birth day. Looks at my ebay account and sees the truck, I get a email nice truck babe! no complaintes What a woman. A year and a half later she tells some of are friends at a party she thought I bought the truck for her being that it was her birth day and was let down when I didn't. What a woman! She has always wanted a 68 camaro but was excited about the old ford truck. What a woman! put up with me for 27 years she deserves a metal.

my girl friend just laughs when I spend a lot of time on it partially because we live two states away right now, I dont know how much she is going to laugh when she moves here and I am repairing the bed from accident and completely taking the truck apart :-) but im sure she might help me if I beg. and If i work on her car i think she would be happy

My lady was the best woman I ever met, definitely would have married her after a few years of course, but she dumped me a month ago or so because I spent too much time working on my truck and not enough time with her. She just wasn't the one obviously...My mom would throw a fit if I sold everything though....So thanks mom...
