Unless I fab a new bracket, installing the OIL Guard filter next to or near the main oil filter is next to impossible. At least for me. Can I safely install it about 3ft down the rail if I have enough hose ?
Yes you can, I put mine in the first available space on the outside side of the drivers frame rail. Used the holes already in the frame without drilling new ones. Good Luck
Yes, i put mine on the outside of the framerail, right behind the tire. only the lower half of it seems to get sprayed from the tire, the top half is covered by the fenderliner....
