Back again
Good to be back again and to see all the news and questions.
Don't know of a better place for people to get help and never a finer bunch of guys to do it with.
Where have Scouder, Russ and Kevin gone?
I know Scouder is busting his grapes to get the 511 ready for their first drag of the summer. Last I taked to him he thought he would have it ready with the new tires and all. I think it is the 24th in Evanston. He is bound to make the 6 sec without the bottle and from all that I have heard through the winter I am convinced he will make it. Sure would be nice if we could figure out how to streamline a hiboy even a little bit. What a difference that would make.
Russ is probably on to his next project while working on the last. And I'm not sure Kevin hasn't dropped off the face. His girlfriend says he is a really nice guy but craps too close to the house on occasion. WHAT!!!!
I read the last three months threads and did not see any or maybe with my old tired eyes I missed them.
Anyway I enjoyed getting caught up..
Take care and I am watching and learning, still.

I think it's a busy time for everyone. I have three H.S. Graduation Commencements in ten days...One down, two to go.
The ol' Grump
I think everyone has more than enough going on thats for sure, we're still trying to chew our way through escrow and government tape. But we got a notice yesterday that one of the important docs was submitted so hoping this will be the beginning of a downhill trend LMAO!!
Hyp!!!! Congrats to all there bro!! We have one graduating mid June.....2 to go!! LOL
Bobby there IS light at the end of that tunnel. Hopefully it's not someone looking for more paperwork!!!
LOL JK....glad to hear things are poking along. If I come across any young ladys looking for design work I'll send them your way.

Thanks guys! The two young fellas are my wife's, they are twins. I didn't meet them until they were six. The young lady in the picture below is my youngest daughter...she's a good kid anyway. LOL The last commencement ceremony is for my niece. That should be all for a while.

Brian, that young fella on the left was born with a hole in his heart. Because he was so tiny at birth, surgery was not an option. The Docs asked to try an experimental medication, the supermom said a prayer and signed waivers. That medication won approval and had become standard treatment when she told me the story ten years ago. If the docs want to wait, they are weighing the options. Hang in there!
good to hear from you son. I had been away for a while and wondered where some had gone. good to see everyone still kicking ideas around here. Kinda like coming home after a week in a foreign country. You just get to missing friends.
its' certainly that time of year when everyone shakes out the cobwebs and gets ready to strut our stuff. funny how these old boat anchors just keep getting to be more fun, interesting and better to make "go fast" outfits with. then when we use them to build families such as this here on the forum makes it even more special in a way all its' own.
Polcat, God Bless your little one. Not much to say of any comfort other than my prayers will most certainly be with her, you and your wife and loved ones. It seems with all the new things in medicine, the dangers that once were are sometimes not as severe now as they once were. We will all pray in your daughters case that this is exactly what they will find and she will soon be fine as she can be.
It is one ting for us old codgers to be down, we can deal with it no matter what. But when it affects our little people,, it makes it so difficult to help as bad as we want to do so. We just have to put our faith in the hands of the Drs. and God.
Take care and we are all pulling for you and your loved ones.
Good to be back and to see everyone here and busy.
Knock em dead Scouder, you can make it, the first 6 on the track. All those to come from then on will always be 'also-rans".

. Yeap After a year of waiting to play again I finally get to. I got some drop shackles, drag shocks for the front and modified my suspension in the off time. Also with the new 950 and axles I hoping for some low twelves. Should be making a run at it as soon as my parts get here in the next few days. So hopefully in about a month I will get to see what it does. I can't wait to see scoots truck run again. Man down here in texas that would be a great truck to show up all these diesels around here
