Did the ball joints over the weekend and must say it was an easy install. I can't seem to remember where i got the directions but i got them on here. Used the Carquest economy BJ's. It seems as though i got about 1/2" of extra lift outta them . I guess it was time to do them. Passing it on for anyone looking to get that little bit of extra lift they may need.
Edit: I can't thank you guys enough though. I'd never have tried let alone completed this without you all
182k with stock ball joints haha i think it was a little bit past time to replace them (i know the PO didn't) Also did the first set of shocks probably 500 miles ago. That's a ford for you
That's the truth though. I've worked on dirtbikes and fourwheelers since i could pick up a wrench, but my dad still has no confidence in me. All i do is look at it like a big fourwheeler and it usually goes ok. Ugh but fourwheelers don't have hydraulic disc brakes (read my other thread on the Pg. 1). I really can't thank you all enough
