Rim and wheel sizes
Alright,since the search wouldn't give me anything(which seemed odd).I got a set of stock rimes on my 1986 Ford F-150.What size would they either be or probably be.I would like to know the metric(?) size and American.I want to get a pair of 33s or 35s for my truck.probably 33s but I can't find a size on my tires or anything.Besides I'm pretty sure that they are wrong,my tires say 31 inch on them but they only measure to 28 inch lol.I can figure out exactly how big the rim is(probably 15 inch?) or how wide the rim is and I want to get it right.

Probably 15 x 6 or 15 x 7's and you aren't going to be able to run 33's or 35's on them safely. You need 8 or 10" rims depending on which tire you choose.
Look on the rim, the size should be either stamped or cast into it somewhere.
BTW, most tires do not run true to size so your 31's could very well measure a lot less. Especially if they have some wear.
For future reference, most tire manufactures tell you the recommended rim width. Do some homework first.
