99 7.3 F-350 Problem
My cruise control, 4 way flashers, and turn signals do not work. No power at lights in rear (turn signals). Brake and reverse lights work. Replaced flasher no luck. I have been told that it could be the wiring in the turn signal handle, not sure of the correct name. Or could there be a break in the wiring? If it needs new turn signal handle, how do you determine that for sure. Cruise control also inop. HELP ANYONE???

Welcome to FTE. Have you checked all your fuses with a test light? The cruise & blinker are 2 different wiring harnesses so they're not connected. You can visually inspect the turn signal lever wiring by removing the steering column shroud. 3 phillips head screws on the bottom side and the tilt lever unscrews. Then unsnap the upper and lower plastic pieces and take a look around. Don't start probing the other wires that go up into the steering wheel. 1 set is for the cruise and the other set is for the air bag.
With the 7.3 you have to test the cruise with a scanner, but you can start by checking things like the E-brake, brake pedal, clutch pedal (if applicable). Those all have sensors that will disengage the cruise. You can play with the switches and see if anything seems to be sticking.
