Mileage without muffler

The V10 is a particular beast.
It gets what it gets for MPG. And intakes, mufflers ect don't seem to affect anything but noise or looks.
I'd just leave it as it is. Some V10's sound funny (to me) with no mufflers or modded exhaust.
I was going to get a different muffler when I bought mine years ago but after reading this forum, I changed my mind and kept my $300.
