flywheel help!
Can anyone tell me if a flywheel from a '77 302 will work on a 351W?? I was told that the early year 302's use a 28 1/2oz flywheel, which is same as the 351W. But I don't know what year they stopped using the 28 1/2oz and switched to the 50oz for the 302. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Conrad

If things didnt change from '76 to '77 then it should work... the reason I am saying this is I put my '76 302 flexplate (flywheel) on my '70 351W and have had no problems.. I think the change for 28oz to 50oz happened a few years later... hope this helps..
