tranny fluid low
1) Drive the car until the engine has reached normal operating temperatures
2) Park on a level surface and keep the engine running
3) Press the brake and move the shift through all the ranges
4) With the engine still running, pull the dip stick out, clean it, reinsert it, pull it out again and read it. The level should be in the x-hatches.
5) If you need to add fluid, put a funnel in the dip stick housing and add a small amount of the proper fluid. It only takes a pint of fluid to raise the level from the low to the high mark when the tranny is warm.
