Fuel injectors

Does anyone know if I put 24lbs injectors into my 1987 F250 is okay. I believe everything is stock. I dont want to creat problems.

Unless it's a 460(which uses 24lb injectors) it will run worse and get terrible gas milage.

why are you changing the injectors? If the ones that are in it are bad it will run better with new 19lb ones and help your fuel mileage.

I replaced my bad 19 lb injectors with 19 lb Ford Racing injectors from Summit a few years ago. I got them for less than 200 bucks. It still runs better than it did back in 1999 when I bought it.

I decided to go with the Ford Racing injectors because Ford wanted about 100 bucks each and the parts stores wanted about 60 bucks each. I also figured that they would be better.
