Front end noise

My front end has been noisier lately, and I'm not sure what it is. I replaced the left hub/bearing assy about 20K ago and the right still feels tight as of this morning. I plan on doing the following soon, and would like to know what else should be done while I'm in there.

Brakes (pads/rotors/slide pins)
Ball joints
Needle bearing lube
Auto-lock hub lube

Oh, and can anyone tell me what this broken seal is? Thanks!

I struggle in this area and usually have my shop fix it for me (I'm getting screwed I think) but I digress. I guess it's the axle seal.

I would guess the same, axle seal. I did the rear on my wife,s expy and you have to pull the axle. Good luck on the seal change.

Maybe I'll let the shop do that one for me. I hate to do it since I'll already be in there, but I really don't want to hurt anything not knowing what I'm doing.

Yes,that is an axle seal/dust seal. I have an 02' with the same problem. I picked up new ones about a year ago and started to get into replacing them but found out you need a tool. My next door neighbor is a mech. and now has the tool, but I need more gumption to get it done. If you do it, and you have the vacuum lockouts, make sure you get new O-rings

I forgot to add that when I pulled it apart, everything was ok inside. The seal wasn't letting any poo-poo in.

What kind of noise is it you're getting?
Is it moaning, squealing, clunking?
