2009 Preliminary Spec's

I was looking at the 2009 preliminary spec's, and it seems to me that the rear axle ratings are lower than the 2008's. I couldn't find too many hard numbers on the 2008's though, other than the heavy duty package. According to this info the heavy duty package has gone from a 5300lb rear axle (2008) to a preliminary 4800lb rear axle (2009).

Does anybody have any insight into the 2009 numbers ? I am hoping that they haven't actually given us weaker axles to save a few pounds. If I wanted to save a few pounds I'd buy a chevy!!
