Wink Power steering flush??

My 1999 F350 2wd 7.3 PSD I think is ready for some fresh fluid in the power stering system.
I have done a search here and understand that the best way to do this flush is to remove a line from the p/s cooler and start the engine for 30 seconds....I wonder if I should stand there and add fluid and let a couple of quarts run through the system to flush out all the dirty stuff, then re-attach the line to the cooler and top off the system?? will doing it this way in fact flush the whole system including the brake portion of it?? Thanks!

Remove the low pressure line from the hydro boost (on your brake master cylinder). secure a clear plastic hose to the hydro boost and the other end to a jug or pail.. Have someone start the engine and have the person press the brakes and turn the steering wheel back and forth , while idling, all while carefully pouring mercon trans fluild into the power steering reservoir.. don't allow the reservoir to run low or it will suck air..Pour a couple of quarts thru this way and stop the engine. Re-connect the hose.. Alot of guys have switched to synethic fluid, like mobil 1.. (don't use power steering fluid)

Just point the hose up to keep it from dripping. As was said, no need to plug it.
