And how much of this do you follow? Times has changed and those rules do not apply much any more. the traditions are hardly passed down anymore and if they are the younger people in general don't follow them.

I think if everyone paid attention around them they can see many examples of a flag code violation everyday, I know of two right off the top of my head, one at college and one at a manufacturing plant.

I know people will disagree but in my opinion its the thought that counts. If I see someone violating the flag code but I perceive them to still have good intentions of showing patriotism and pride, then I am fine with it.

I think many of the rule are ridiculous. Humans made them and humans can change them. I see no ethnical argument for having them without some sort of fallacy involved.
