I think if everyone paid attention around them they can see many examples of a flag code violation everyday, I know of two right off the top of my head, one at college and one at a manufacturing plant.
I know people will disagree but in my opinion its the thought that counts. If I see someone violating the flag code but I perceive them to still have good intentions of showing patriotism and pride, then I am fine with it.
I think many of the rule are ridiculous. Humans made them and humans can change them. I see no ethnical argument for having them without some sort of fallacy involved.
