alpine IDA x001

hey guys, i have the alpine IDA X001 head unit, it is specifically designed for the Ipod to easily run with. Anyway one of the cables that connects to the bottom of the ipod broke, no idea how it started giving me an error and i went to plug it back in and i noticed the popped wire. Does anyone know where i can get the usb connector cable for the unit? If you are familiar with the unit youll know what i am talking about, its the small usb type connector that plugs into the bottom of the ipod and is about 6 inches long. I have been to several audio shops and nobody has this small cable everyone is telling me that they only come with the head unit, which will really suck if thats true. So does anyone know where i can get another one of these cables?

You should be able to get it from Pac parts. If not i would try ebay. Some people will break down the systems into parts to sell them.Consumer Electronic Parts and Accessories at PacParts, Inc.
