All cleaned up!!

Well, I left work early and, I thought I should give the truck some attention. I washed it, and cleaned the interior.

Last summer I put on new doors and fenders to replace the old rusty ones. I also converted to power windows and locks.

When I bought the truck it had some old thing that counted miles for trips, and i think it told your mpg if i remember right. I pulled it out shortly after, unfortunately thats where some p.o. put it, and I have a hole now.

How hard was it converting to power windows and locks? I am getting tired of leaning over the seat to roll down the passenger side window everyday. Also how much would it cost to convert?

It wasn't very hard to do. I replaced my doors, one had power windows/locks, the other didn't. I found another that did and took the wiring, window motor, lock actuator and put it on my door. There is a wiring harness that plugs in at both doors that runs along the firewall, and two wires goes to the fuse panel, if you unscrew the panel the wires will plug right in the corresponding spots. I was able to pull everything needed at the junkyard, for the motors and wiring on the doors you can use parts from newer trucks, but the wiring that goes from door to door the wires that go to the fuse panel have different plugs on 87-96 but the rest of it is the same.
