shackle kit "Great"

I have just finished putting on shackle kit off ebay. Great stuff for the money my brother in law got them for me. IN return i will install his dead head kit i made up for him. Good trade for Grant and me . The shackles went on great and only took 30 min. I can't wait to put some on the X. Now have a smile on my face!

It's great when stuff goes on smoothly. When I put my 2" leveling kit on my truck I had to use the neighbors skisteer to squat the front end enough to put in the last bolt. I envy the jobs that go smooth...

I put the shackles on the front of mine and they bolted right up. Took about 20 minutes. Now I am clearing 35" tires.

Yes they are the 50 dollar ones off of ebay. They lifted a full 2 1/2 inches now i am going to run one set of 39.5 inch tires. Truck seems to drive ok with them and the 4 inches of lift i had on before.

Is there any mods to the front end needed? Just bolt them on? Are they safe for the front. I don't want to sound ignorant about the last question but i tow a 15,000 travel trailer during vacations plus work and got the family with me on vacations.

Any problems with sway? I have heard of people putting shackle lifts on trucks and the seem to feel a sway when driving.

I put them on my truck a while back and they are great the truck drives fine and tows well. The only thing is that occasionally when the truck flexes out a little, it makes a popping noise, but it just sounds like something has come untorqued and needs to be tightened other than that the shackles are great...

They work well, I got 1 1/2 lift from mine. No steering or sway changes here. My truck drives as it did before the shackles.Pics are in my gallery.
