My 2004 Explorer Limited is really falling apart. A couple of months ago or so the climate control would not come on automatically at the last setting. I can manually turn it on (without turning on lights, etc), but it comes on at 75, no matter what it was on at shut down. Then the tire pressure fault come up on the heads up display. All the tires are propely inflated. Now the seat will not move back when exiting. Are all these things related? Or is it just coincidence the my exploder is crashing all at once? Thanks for your input
I don't know if you fixed your problem or not, but in my 01 I started to have weird things happen like that.. the passenger window would not roll down.. I couldn't adjust my mirrors,, then my window in the back wouldn't work. I couldn't find anything wrong with the fuses or the wiring and i was stumped.
Eventually it all stopped and would not start.. come to find out that I had a bad cell in my batter. Now i don't know if that was the problem for the 6 months before.. but when I replaced my battery.. everything started working again.
IMO these things happen because we load up these vehicles with automatic this and automatic that. The more fancy gizmos, the more repairs. That's what I like the most about my 83 F150 six....just plain and simple.
