Injection pump
I have 2001 7.3 and the truck sometimes hesitates on acceleration and when letting off the pedal the truck dies this happened twice yesterday and today when letting off the pedal the truck died and will not restart. The CPS was replaced and still not starting.
Could here be a problem with the injection pump? or something else?

There is no injction pump on a 7.3... Only a fuel pump and then your HPOP...
Pull the codes and see whats there... I would bet its a IPR or ICP issue. Check the oil level, check the fuel bowl (turn the key on and with the drain open does fuel come out?)
