I have gone threw the prep section now I am at the end of the clear coat and it has set over night (the bed only) I see a lot of very small dimples in the clear coat, I have wet sanded with 1000 grit and 1500 but the little pot marks are still in the paint, will this come out with the buffing work?
next what do I use to buff the unit out? and just how do I go about it. thanks JNT
I just realized its called orange peel. JNT

If you have enough paint on it ,,you can sand some more ....
orange peel is just that the clear looks or appears to have the texture of an orange. if their perfect little circles they're 1 of 2 things either fish eyes or solvent pop. when you were spraying the clear did you see them start then and are they grouped if so that sounds more like fish eyes if you have enuff clear you can sand them out and buff if you still see it after sanding you'll see it more after buffing. if its solvent pop your going to have to sand down until they're gone with 600 and possibly even rebase if you break thru to your base coat if you don't break the base and can sand them out then reclear it really depends on how far they go down.
Thank you for the guide I have to go thew it more and understand all the differences but I will not for get how to get to the page, again thank you for this help. JNT
