Moter Swap

I have a 87 F-150 wat is needed to go from a 300 6 cyl to a 302 or 351?
the 6 is fuel injected with a 4 spd 2 whl drive

You need a donor vehicle to pull the complete engine, wiring harness and computer from.

If you want to be fuel injected you will need to do as "Conanski" says but if you want to go to a carb. then you need less. Change the in tank fuel pump to a lower pressure unit and go to an old distributor and go for it.... Either way can be a lot of work for the in-experenced. Good luck....
