For the heat, I always open the shady windows and close the sunny ones, of course I am in a valley surrounded by mountains so there is a breeze some of the times, as well as I have a fan pointed up the stairway to circulate air better

Unfortunately, where I live at now is rapidly becoming "suburbanated". All the open fields around my place are now packed with new homes and "NEW HOUSE PEOPLE" if you know what I mean...
