question about 6.0psd
I am looking at buying a new truck I have an excursion v10 right now. I was trying to decide between a F350 7.3 or a dodge cummins 2002 or so. I was leaning toward the Dodge but it is hard to find one that I wanted so I went looking at the good old fords. In the process of doing this we found a KING RANCH I am glad you can't marry trucks because my wife would divorce me in a second for this RIG!! Any way it is a 2004 with the 6.0 I was not even looking at them with all the bad press. But after talking to one of the old guys at the dealership and reading posts it looks like they are not so BAD after all. Have all the kinks been worked out by now or should I be worried? Is there any thing to look out for? Any help to end my confusion would be great.

I have an oasis run the sticky is at the top of the 6.0 forum. You may also have better luck with this question over in the 6.0 forum. I have not had any real issues with mine and it has 72000 on it now. I did just have a fitting on the hpop go bad but I believe this to be an 05-06 problem only so you should be fine with a n 04 if that is the case. main thing is get the oasis and spend an evening reading over in the 6.0 forum. I wills ay though I miss my 7.3 for pulling as I feel it would out pull the 6.0 all day. But you will be really happy coming from a 2valve v-10(if that is what you have now). GOod luck Aaron
