My secret is ask way, way, way...way, way more then I think it's worth...plus put in a "Make an offer/best offer" thing.


Case in point I figured my '59-other brand was worth around 4K...I asked 4K for it and didn't get a bite...looked around and saw trucks needing total resto asking 2500...my gues is folks figured I was trying to make a buck on a truck needing to be restored...sooo, opted to post it for 6500, and let the guy talk me down to 5500.

Could be your priced in the "middle" of what it's worth...get rediculous, ask 10K, see what happens, it's only band width you're wasting...unless you use Ebay.

I think it is a very reasonable price, there is no way a truck could be brought into that condition for less money.

 

I think with all the travellers from the Midwest going to Colorado this time of year, park it along the interstate at a gas staion or diner with a For Sale sign on it. Some rich guy from Minneapolis or Chicago will snap it right up, and no eBay fees (have you checked them lately???)

 

call me nuts , but if it doesn't sell maybe someones telling ya something ??? i've been trying to sell or trade my 49 but it's not moving nor do i really expect it too. seeing as my wife isn't standing behind me reading this i'll be honest , i no longer am trying and she knows it .i think someone has preordained that both of my old trucks are supposed to be with me and as such they wont go anywhere . i still go through the motions every once in awhile to appease the household "god" if ya get my drift but.................
