Mirrors won't work
Can anyone help me on why my mirrors on my 2003 F-150 will not stay working from what i have heard it is a problem on many models not working. I have takin the switch out and cleaned the connections and it will work for about 2 weeks can anyone let me know what to do. Do i need to buy a new switch or just keep cleaning the connections?
I also have one other problem with this truck the orignal owner tore off the spare tire cable underneath the truck. I am not sure were to look for one of these. Are they bolted on or are they rivited on?

Can't help you with your mirrors, but the spare tire cable assy. just bolts on. I just replaced mine. Easy job. I ordered it from thepartsguy you will see his ad on here. Do a search on spare tire cable.
