Its not really needed if you have a 6637 but if you have the factory air box or the AIS system it can provide more air into the system. Other then that its just there and can be modded lol.

First picture is the hole drilled out, and cleaned up with the Dremmel tool. 2nd pic is a custom screen I put on to keep bugs and water out. It may not do a major difference with performance.....but it is a FREE mod!

Ah, Travis, I see a real man's tool there. We run a whole lot of DeWalt equipment, the last time I checked we were at something like 50 or 60 pieces and we have added since then. I do trim carpentry for a living.

My wife walked into my shop while I was doing the ZOODAD mod. I was standing in front of my truck with a sawzall in one hand and a miller lite in the other, with my grill off. She pretty much shook her head and walked back to the house.

This reminds me of the time I bought my first boat. brand spankin new. Needed a Fish Finder installed. The shop wanted some ungodly amount of money, $50.00 bucks or so. I got the instructions and decided to do it myself. well here I was with a brand new $12,000.00 boat only been in the water once. Got out my Dewalt and the 5/8 patel bit about to drill a hole in the bottom of the transum to mount the sensor. My wife walks out sees the empty beer cans on the shop table, looks at the boat and the drill in my hand. All she did was say "give a rednack a boat and a drill, and he cant help himself" she offered to call the shrink herself, this time. Man, when I look back at it, it does sound kind dumb. But it all went great.
