I have a 2003 Navigator with the heated/cooled seats. All of the sudden neither of them work. It will not heat or cool. Both indicator lights still come on both switches, and I can hear both motors running, and both filters are clean. What's up!? The heat is element based isn't it. If any one can please help that would be great
Since both are out I would think that you guys are on the right track, it is prob a frelay or a fuse.
Where are the seat filters, I didnt know they had one? I have the geat/cool seats and love them. i still dont have a working Service DVD - after 3 fakes and one OEM scratched so bad it looked a a cat had sharpened its claws on it - so any help would be appreciated. sorry to hi-jack your thread a bit.
The filters are under the seat, you get at them from the second row. Move the seat all the way forward and tilt the front down, they are about 1/3 of the way forward. Around 2"x2", just squeeze the sides and they pop right off. They run around $17 each and take 2 minutes to change.
Yes. I didn't look around for aftermarket figuring they would be around $5 each. Surprise! I guess it's best to ask for the price FIRST. My wife has been schooling me on this. 16 years and counting. I think I'm starting to get it.
