Global Warming

From the Desk of:
Steve Elliott, President, Grassfire.org Alliance
5/5/2008
Dear Pat,
The latest "computer models" from global warming scientists show that global warming will be in retreat at least until 2015.
Combined with the fact that there has been no global warming since the peak year of 1998, even Climate Alarmist scientists are being forced to recognize that we could be looking at nearly a two-decade hiatus from global warming.
For the record, here's the history of global warming back to 1940 and projected through 2015:
1940-1974 (34 years) -- global cooling
1975-1998 (23 years) -- global warming
1999-2015 (17 years) -- temperatures level then cool
Go here for access to resources on these newest reports:

+ + Helping you expose the hoax
Pat, Al Gore's idea that man-made global warming has created a "planetary emergency" is a hoax. But the overwhelming barrage from the media and Hollywood means you and I still have an uphill fight to stop the Al Gore tax.
Our records show that you have not yet signed the petiton
to Stop Climate Alarmism. Please go here to sign today:
http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?u=6814&RID=13774977
Thanks so much for taking a stand.

Steve
P.S. I just got off a strategic conference call with our Capitol Hill contacts who informed me that the Al Gore Tax bill is still slated for a vote in early June. We fully expect the Senate to vote on this $1.2 trillion Al Gore Tax before the first day of summer.
Please sign the petition today:

I always knew Al Gore was crazy, I mean come on a man-bear-pig thats impossible.

I myself dont believe it is as they say it is, the earth went through climate changes throughout history and this is just another one. I would like a ice age though, Ill be moving to FL this summer and I could use some cooler weather when Im there

I am with you Chris, I dont know if you read through the thread about gas prices, but we all got on to the subject of global warming. I stated there that I believe it is happening, but I also believe it to be happening naturally.. I read this, and now I believe it is not happening this month LOL.

I am against tearing down the rain forest for cows, but I am also not against Drilling in Alaska. I against the cost of corn going up becasue that is the new in thing to burn..

I guess I am treee hugger but realistic

I dont read the gas prices threads too much since I already know we are gettin F**Ked on that. It all depends on who you talk to, some people make good points for it happening and for it not happening. The new thing with useing corn is only a problem since there isnt enough farmers out there to produce it. I see it around here all the time, a devolper comes in offers a huge amout of money then levels everything and build house/strip malls/ shopping centers. The money that is offered it to good to pass up for that person, but they with less farms the cost of food keeps goin up. I am for drilling in alaska, but the problem with that is it is cheaper for them to send it to japan or china so then the oil companys do that to make more profit.

I just took part in a poll at the Weather Channel. It was asking if you were convinced that global warming exists. It was nice to see that the majority polled that they are not convinced 34%-30%.

The problem is if they ask that question to school age kids it would probably be much different. They are pushing global warming in public schools like it is a mission in life to convince kids to become enviro *****. I am not looking forward to my daughter starting school in a couple of years, but I guess it just means more work for me and her mom here at home!!!

Man made Global Warming is a theory yet to be proven by any significant factual data. Politicians have discovered a way to make money and attract votes using the theory as fact. With the colaboration of Hollywood and the media the theory has been waved in the faces of americans often enough that many have begun to take it as fact.

The theory is riddled with holes. Any reasonably intelligent person can look at the available data and conclude for themselves that we should not be making laws or inacting bills to counter the affects of man made global warming until it is better understood.

If you are talking to me Chris, then no, I am a Maintenance/Facility manager for a Aerospace company. But, based on some of the websites I travel to, some have planted cookies that lead me to less then liberal sites, but I still have my own opinions..

Here is a little pretyped letter they had sent me to send to all of my friends and family, nice of them huh?

Hi!

Congress is moving quickly to pass a $1.2 trillion Global Warming Tax that is based on unfounded science and could cripple our economy. A vote is expected before summer.

I just signed a petition and am asking you to join me.

Global warming is such a bunch of bull *****... In geology class and science you learn about the inter-continental ocean and then there was the huge volcanic eruptions that supposedly triggered an Ice age and then the water was Ice I guess that those cave men should have been using ULSD and Ethenol in there cars instead of messing up the environment. There have been climatologists terminated from there positions because they didn't agree with this hypothosis that another scientist had come up with. Where did science go, it is so liberal now that it doesn't even matter. I am not against anything to try and pollute less but lies I wont even think about listening to. Al Gore should just give it up and stop flying around on his private jet using more fuel and polluting more than most of the people that he is trying to stop or inform. Sorry about the rant, and for the tree huggers it is now a renewable resource this is what all of the money goes to the forestry departments for to make sure that harvesing is just that, harvesting of one crop to produce another; and replant for future harvesting. As has been said before try wiping your A$$ with a plastic bag... Some of the food prices are being driven from the fact that yes corn is being used for ethenol but also that India and China now have the capital to be able to afford wheat and are driving the wheat price up coupled with a failed crop last season in Australia, and now creating such a demand for rice that China will no longer export it. But of coarse California is still probably going to export the rice that they produce.....

OK I am Done. Sorry about the super long Rant....

jUST WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T GET INTO THE PRICES OF DIESEL OR BIODIESEL WITH A CERTAIN MEMBER ON HERE ABOUT TAXES ON BIO. This jelous guy thinks if you work in your garage working nite and day getting your own wvo that you should call up the state and or gov. and get them to tax your blended bio diesel to help out the road tax. I probably can't count on my fingers how many people are running out the door to hand the state or gov more money if the whole reason for cleaning up the world of waste products and to save alittle coin in his pocket.

Global warming is crap! As long as I can remember we have alway set new record lows and highs every year. If it was warming up then we probably wouldnt have new record lows. Back in the 80's we seemed to have a lot more snow in the winter time, and according to just another truck's original post that was during a warming stage. Now we don't get very much snow so what is with that. I am all about cleaning up the inviroment like recycleing and stuff like that. Here where I live at in the last ten years I have seen so much farm ground go in to houses and shopping centers. All because the local farmer cant make enough money to keep the farms going. and you all have seen the prices of food so why isn't there any money for the farmers? oh thats right there are polititions that needs millions and millions of dollars to live there lives and spread there bolagna around.
