302 Perches

I'm about to start the 302 swap into my 66 f100. It had the original 352 and I've read in the posts here that the 352 perches will keep the new 302 1-2" too high. I need to find 302 perches (68-79) right? Or 351/400 (77-79)? Those are all the same height right? I guess I now really have (2) questions:
1) Can I order the perches from LMC? or a local auto parts store, or is my only option a salvage yard? How many perches are there? Right/Left/ Rear...(3) in all or are there more?
2) Do the holes from the 302 perches align with the 352 perches already in my truck? or would I need to do some additional drilling?

All of your help is appreciated

I was going to do this at one time and changed my mind. but I did a interweb search for engine swaps and did find a set of 302 mounts for the 60's f100's.
I have deleted the url but I know someone makes them. Proly not the anwser you were looking for.

its easer to go to the wrecking yard and find a set from a 73-79 and when you do they will almost bolt right you will just have to drill one hole on each side the othes line up just fine i just got done with the same swap

I am not positive, but think remember reading the 351M/400 uses the same perches. So just about any donor truck except FE, 460 and 6 cyl motors will have them. If you do a search here, someone recently had the same questions and showed pics of both types. There are tons of donors with correct perches in bone yards. I havean extra set here right now, but have been contimplating doing a 5.0 efi in a 6 cyl truck. So keeping wraps on them for now.

So those numbers above should apply if I'm replacing a 352 with a 302 in a 67 f100?

I typed this post you quoted almost 5 years ago, but the same thing applies today.

If you wish to swap a 302 or 351W into one of these trucks, these are the only engine supports that will work.

1969/79 F100 302 - 1975/79 F150 302 - 1977/79 F100/350 351M/400 2WD

Obsolete, no longer available from Ford. I was only able to locate the left side NOS

D7TZ-6028-B (replaced DOTZ-6028-A) .. Right Engine Support / Obsolete

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
------------------------------------------------------
D7TZ-6029-B (replaced DOTZ-6029-A) .. Left Engine Support / Obsolete

USD INC. in Phoenix AZ has 1 = 602-253-7111.

No Ford dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.

What is a 84 F50? Is it 2WD or 4WD.
