I need to post this up to print it off at school, thx
Why me? Why did this have to happen to me and not someone else? All I want to do is be a simple farmer, but no; I have to be a "banker." It's just not about making for money for me, or being clean and tidy. I want to enjoy what I do and be happy with my life, but my parents are so proud of me I can't say no to them. Shur, maybe I would like to make them happy, but it shouldn't have to sacrifice my happiness for them. Farming could do a lot for me, and I have the potential to become big and make a lot of money, plus there are many benifits to becoming a farmer. I would have lot's of land and equipment, and It would keep me in shape, unlike banking. You don't have a life if your working at the bank, counting money isn't much of a profession anyway, and is not exciting in any way. "What did you do today?" Oh, I counted money...Whoop dee doo, sounds very interesting, NOT! Don't get me started on the clothing you have to wear while working at the bank, it's ugly, itchy and is extremly uncomftorble. I don't talk to anyone at the bank, and I can't stand it when other employees talk to me in their whiny voices. They tell me I look very angry all the time, which is true. I have just learned to keep the rage bottled up inside me, and it just gets worse with the days. The worst part is that I will probably never get out of this hole.
Dear Mr. Mayor,
My name is Derek Wall. I am a student living in Winkler, and I attend the Garden Valley Collegiate high school here in winkler.
I am at the age where I am starting to drive automobiles, and I am starting to get the feel for winkler as I drive through the city. I am shur I am not the first person to notice the roadways in winkler are not in the best shape, and they are not getting any better. I think these roads are a hazard to our saftey as drivers, and as pedestrians. This is because some of the roads in Winkler are actually difficult to drive on at times, with all the bumps and pot holes everywhere. This could be very dangerous, especcially for new drivers, that don't yet know how to handle a car in all situations. These road conditions are also damaging to our vehicles, and as tax payers, we don't want to be spending any more than we already have to. There are many ways we could fix these problems, but all cost money. I have an idea on how we could effectivly cut back on city spending, in order to pay for the re-paving of some of our most busy, and most worn down roadways. Winklers economy and size is growing rapidly, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Buildings are going up and land is being bought to expand winkler for all the new housing. I think that if we could cut back or sell some of the things we didn't need, like some city owned property, or other city owned buissnesses that are not in use, we could afford to pay for the costs of re-paving the roads. I also think that some of our tax dollars could be put into this as well, and slowly, over time build up enough money to help re-pave the road ways. Re-paving the roadways would not only be safer and be easier on our cars, but it could also help beautify our city as well. I am just trying to create safer, and better looking roads for our city, and hope that you can consider these ideas. Thank you for taking time to read this ledder, and am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerly: Derek Wall.
