The 91 seat in my 78 now is a direct bolt in. Just had to swap over the slider brackets. It sits a little farther forward than the original, maybe a 1/2 inch, but not enough to worry about. I was more worried about if the slider bracket would go on the newer seat and also would the seat be too wide? I ask because my 65 seat is in no too good of shape. Thanks!

The 78 & 65 share the same floor pan, it will be a direct bolt in from the 78.
If you have arm rests you will have to open the door to tilt the seat back forward, but the seat will fit.
