Anyone know a friend or website i could buy 1 single centercap for a 97 f-250 supercab 4x4 (7 lug) or if need be a whole rim and centercap...they are chrome by the way. Reason being, wife got t-boned in my truck...shes fine... and anyway all it did was shatter my centercap and damaged the rim, not sure if its bent yet but seems to ride fine until over 60. The Honda Pilot that hit her had no front end left, she had to be towed and the ol jewel f250 drove home fine.
Try that site. I'm not sure if they have any center caps or not but they do have rims decently cheap.. Used/Refurb type things.. Its cheaper than buying one new.. You might find your center cap.. This may be a long shot.. You said it drove fine until you top 60mph? I had some tie rod problems and mine would shake or have a wobble coming through the steering wheel. May or May not be of any help but it wouldnt hurt to have it checked out if that fits your problem.
Will do, after i pick her up. Took it into the shop today only to find out i'm going to need a new torque converter....at a minimum....the trans teardown is in process as we speak so more to come there.........
