New cat

I need some advice. I really like the way my magnaflow single sounds on my F150 4.6 but i would like to make it louder but not change the way it sounds. I have thought about duals but what about changing the cat a magnaflow high performance cat what would that do? If changing the factory cat to a new one would give me more volume i will probably and the second muffler later. let me know what you guys think. thanks for your time.

Well, the F-150 should have 2 cats per side, and technically by law you are required to keep it that way. However, if you use a good cat that keeps the light off, you should be fine. You should double check with your local laws, but running a single cat on each side will make it a little louder.

Might I suggest this cat?
