sleeved engine reliability

I'm thinking about starting to put together the parts for an engine rebuild and just wondering if anyone has re-sleeved there 7.3 block with any sucess... I've heard about dave s and the problems he had... any one else seen there sleeves fail?

thanxs,
Corey

My Dad ownes a machine shop, he has sleeved a bunch of 7.3's with no problems. Leave a "step" at the bottom and the "step" and head should hold it no matter what. He hasn't had any problems but I don't know about anyone else.
