Thanks everyone, this helps tremendously and means alot to us.
We haven`t found out how bad the break is, all the doctor told us was there`s no good break.
With Nancy`s weakened heart condition the anesthetic is a big concern.
As far as how long of a hospital stay no one will say as it depends on alot of things such as how the operation goes and how fast Nancy can heal up, probably 2 week minimum, likely longer.

Nancy will feel the hip pain for months but we`re hoping she can at least come home in about 2 weeks but that`s very hard to say.

Really great news this after noon, Nancy called me after her surgery( to put a plate and pins in her hip), she said she felt alot better and that all was well.
She`s not up to any company tonite so I won`t be able to see her till tomorrow after I finish work.
God bless our medicare system and the wonderful staff at the Royal University Hospital!
