too much blue smoke
My dad has a 93 f250and he says its puffing blue alot. He just changed all the injectors and glowplugs. Also when drving 60-70mph he says it feels like its bucking a little, almost like its missing. What do you guys think could be the problem?

dose the smoke smell like fule or oil? If it is blue its probly oil may need to clean the CDR. But since you say it is missing I would think it may be blackish smoke. Did it start after the injectors and glow plugs?

did you or he mess with the injector pump timing? turn it the wrong way and it can retard the fuel timing, and more than likely cause the engine to not get enough fuel, causing it to miss. turn it the other way to far and your going ot get alot of blue smoke, and this is too much fuel, its just bypassing the combustion stage and pouring out the exhaust. if neither is the case and the ip hasnt been touched, then make sure that your getting sufficient ip pressure, i believe a lack of pressure will cause a miss and possibly blue smoke. good luck

hey another thing i thought of in my sleep last night, was where do you get your fuel, does your water in fuel light work, or come on, having water in the fuel,will cause poor performance, and enough will cause hydrolock, check it out, because my light was burnt out, and i had to scavenge a new one out of a junk yard, and luckily it worked, but id check there as well, it cant hurt and only be preventitive maintenance
