First Mod completed
Well, just completed my first mod on my 97 F350 CC 7.3, installed 3" DP. Drove it for a little bit but have not towed my boat yet with the mod. I can definately hear the turbo singing louder but the rumbling under the floor board is deafening. And, it's not a smooth rumbling, more of a gurgling sound. I have not noticed any performance improvement either.

Yeah, sounds like you might have some clearance issues. Also, throw the stock air cleaner box out and put in an aftermarket one or do the 6637 mod. Having that "free-flowing" intake will make the spool up faster.

Sory guys, been away from he PC. No resloution to date, a buddy of mine who owns a muffler shop did the job for me so I plan on discussing it with him this weekend over a cold beer
