I was looking at a job today and was following a cat trail along a fenceline.
It got pretty steep, but I was going along OK and all of a sudden my truck starting running very poorly.
Like so bad it quit right in a steep spot.
I let it roll back down to a bench that was kind of flat.
It wouldnt start, so I checked the oil in the engine and in the HPOP, they were both good.
I tryed to start it again and it fired up but was running very bad, as I was 20 miles from the nearest phone or anything I pinned it and got it rolling and it started to run better.
By the time I got back to the main road it was running OK again.
Any ideas what was going on?
How much fuel did you have in the tank. If you had little fuel in the tank maybe you sucked air from the tank from being on that incline. The fuel went to the back of the tank.
