tailgate

Hey guys, I just bought an 08 tailgate for my 2003 f350. Has anyone used a spray in bedlinner on it? It has the step built in and Im not sure if it can be sprayed or not? so If anyone has any info on this please let me know. thanks

Linex told me they could NOT do the tail gate. If you look at the mouldings you can understand why. It is not the step, but the fold up banister.

If you find someon can do it, please post.

99-08 from what I understand

Yes, 99-08, just on the pre 08 trucks you need to change the drivers side mount for the torsion assist in the new tailgates

What is the torsion assist? I have a job 2, KR, F-350, long bed, and it's bench pressing at least 75#'s each time. I have the step, handle, camera. Maybe because of the back up camera you cannot get the torsion assist. Do you know? THX,
