I would like to add power door locks, and power windows to my XL. Can somebody steer me to a good supplier? I also wonder if wires are pre-run for this, as the wires were pre-run for my cruise-control . Anybody got a take on that too?
I doubt the wires are there since the '07 XL was not available with either power windows or locks while the cruise control was an available option, but I could be wrong.

Hey BigBlue, wires are not there, but I installed a decent window kit in my xl scab that I am VERY happy with. Installation was very easy too. Can't remember brand or website I purchased from, but can get that info to you later today.Didn't do the locks (wished I had though), but same comp. sells those too. Presently looking for power window kit for my rear scab doors ever since I saw them factory on an xlt. Will get back to you later today. Sorry I haven't posted hear in some time (been more than busy!)
I used/use A-1 electric for the windows and door locks (for the windows, its a direct bolt-in using OE hardware). The locks only req'd me to drill one hole and one factory hole.
I also have NEW factory door panels (with switches, bezels and speaker covers)that are awaiting install- as soon as I figure out which mirrors to go with.
This is just what I was looking for! I knew you guys would be able to steer me right! I have that found that I was more used to my "creature comforts" than I thought I was! Now, I'm adding them. Thanks..... And Mitch150, I'll see you on site, and maybe at a GTG!
I had locks and Power windows installed in my 05 stx ..About $475 installed at my local custom audio sound store..Window plastic gears broke twice already..and very slow up and down..but still better than hand cranking 9 turns or so by hand to open/close..another ford engineering marvel..
