hey guys i'm new to this site but love it already, have a 2000 f-250 crew 4+4 sb diesel, afe intake, super chip tuner, banks 4" stainless exhaust, my tuner trouble codes say bad exhaust back pressure sensor? anyone got info to help me locate this sensor? been reading alot of threads, great job guys keep up the good work, thanks buckhunter10
if you look in the front of the motor its just in the fron of it, it has pipe going to it from the passenger side manifold, if you follow that pipe you find the sensor, if you going to replace it get the pipe to if its rusted. you can try to clean it with trimer line
If you are standing in front of the truck, its toward the top front of the motor a little to the left. You will have to pull the tube off of the passenger side manifold and check it and the sensor for soot, it can get clogged up and sometimes the tube will develope a hole, or in my case break in half.
I replaced my tube recently, ford bends the new ones slightly different now
