Weston State Asylum
I came home from my friends and turn on the TV and to the SciFi channel and low and behold, I find the Ghost Hunters at Weston State Hospital. I had a friend that lived in Weston and went in the Asylum one time for a walkthrough. He no longer works for the state and I don’t have an IN anymore.
Any of my fellow WV FTE friends have an IN to the asylum anymore?
Some friends at work would like to get in and ghost hunt a night or 2!

I think the off road park is a pipe dream.
Nice swamp for bogging but, no place to park, no place for grand stands, no place for concession stands or rest rooms.
I can make some inquiries Rod, not sure who that woman that owns the place now is.
I do know they are running tours down there.
As a matter of fact, they had three showings of the TAPS broadcast there tonight.
9PM, 10 PM and 11 PM.
Hey Dave, I will be stopping at GL Wilson tomorrow morning around 7 AM.

I was not there long, the fabric I needed to line a drainage ditch was not in stock.
So I will be back out there when it comes in.

Dave, I saw one of the TAPS shows and I know they have tours at times. Let me know what you find out about the place. I would like to get in for a night.
Who knows they may re-open the place and I would be first patient.
Fitting?

Not to worry Rod, when I hide something, it is hidden.
I bury all my best work, so I have a lot of practice.
Over the last two weeks I have carried 6000 tons of crusher run inside a building with a backhoe to fill the hole we dug on for a month.
I am spoiled after spending all spring inside a building, no mud, no rain, no wind.
