4x4 question??
I have a 2003 ford f-250(it doesn't have shift on the fly) with aftermarket rims. my question is, can i leave my hubs locked in 4 wheel drive? when i bought the truck they weren't locked, but in order to lock them i have to take off the rim and tire just to get the hub cover off(i know it's stupid but that's how it came). so can someone please let me know if i can leave them locked so i can put my hub covers back on. thanks.

You can leave them locked, but then you will be putting extra wear and tear on the front axle parts because they will be turning all the time. You also might see a small drop in mpg's also.
Find out what brand your wheels are and get a pair of center caps made for 4x4 applications, they will be open ended caps that will give you access to your hubs.
