1988 F-250 302 5 speed manual tranny!
So my truck has got a leak right on the seals going from my manual tranny to my transfer case. how do i go about fixing the problem.
My tranny is 5 speed dont even know how to recognize which of the 2 it is need help with that. and secondly what is that seal callled that I need to have it replace

Inside your driver side dam jamb you should find a sticker that has your tire pressure information and a bunch of buil codes for the vehicle. There will be a two character trans code on that sticker. Post the code here.

TRANSFER case seal, and there's three of them > >
Front input seal / Front output seal / rear output seal.
If it's the front input seal, it's: E3TZ7B215H - Ford list price: $8.44.
If it's NOT the front input seal, get the Ford ID number off the transfer case, post it here.
The number will be similar (or exactly) to: E3TA-7A195-GB.
